Luna Lovegood - Chapter 5 - The Work Up

I brought Luna to the hospital. Kelly and Katelyn helped me draw blood and aspirate Luna's lymph nodes.
I never tell my clients to stay off Google. Do you know why? It is a powerful, instructive force when used correctly.
I looked up "normal dog lymph node images," "reactive dog lymph node images" and "dog lymphoma images." Kelly stained a slide for me and we both looked at it under the microscope. It sure looked like lymphoma cells to us. And Google.
As far as it depends on me, I will not cry again unless and until a pathologist says it sure looks like lymphoma cells to him or her.
Kelly prepared the paperwork to send to the pathology lab. I typed "lymphoma" as my working diagnosis. Under "What would you like to know about this sample?" I typed, "This is our family dog, and she is only three years old. Please tell me I am wrong."
