Someday I will tell you the story of how we came to have four Poodles. With our first dog, we had to find a groomer right away and were absolutely clueless.

Benji had The Anxiety. We had only had Max the Cat. And all the rats. We didn’t know the first thing about how to find Benji a groomer.
So we decided to go with Someone Kind. That - it turns out - is ALWAYS a sure fire way to make ANY decision well.
Lori, a sweet client at Companion Animal Hospital in Littleton with SO MANY Irish Wolfhounds was Benji’s groomer for his whole life, and Benji loved her and loved going to get his hair cut. As did the next two Poodles, Obie and Herbie.
And through the years we have known the KINDEST and MOST TALENTED groomers, Amy and and Linnette and Jenna - now at That Dog Wash - and before them the Oakview Petsmart team. Our favorites from Oakview Petsmart have long since moved to Elkhorn at Pink Tuesdays owned by another excellent groomer, Jodi.

Alicia - now at Pink Tuesdays - was Noodle’s groomer - kind, compassionate and so skilled. Noodle didn’t love everyone like Benji did, but he sure loved Alicia!
Now most of the awesome groomers I know are at Fur Goodness Sake right near Westgate Animal Clinic. I have worked with and work with the best of the best.
While I do not possess ANY grooming talent (I can trim a GREAT rectangle and ear floof mats and that is it!), I know how to recognize amazing groomers.
And now I have My Favorite Groomer in the World.

She is THE KINDEST (as you know!) and already THE MOST TALENTED. This extraordinary artist has transferred her art skills to dog and cat grooming and is already amazingly good!

Dogs LOVE Abby. That is all we have ever cared about in a groomer - that our dogs are comfortable with them - and we have always sought out and found the best! We did not care if they were good, to be honest, but they have all been amazing, and we have gotten the cutest haircuts for our little guys, from Benji and Herbie and Obie in Littleton to Noodle the Poodle in Omaha.

We do not of course currently have a little Poodle, but we do have Dougie, who does not need as intense of grooming care, but has been a good sport about letting Abby make him even MORE beautiful, which I honestly did not think was possible!
