This is part of a month long series on depression. This post is about things I have recently changed to deal with my depression and to ward off another episode.
 

If I see something that would make me happy, and it is less than five dollars and I have five dollars, I buy it right then.

I walk everywhere I possibly can.

I only do exercise I like.

I only eat food I like. I am on a no sugar kick right now, so I eat a lot of berries and nuts and salmon.

I tell people they are important to me and that I love them - this isn't really a change, just ramped up a bit.

I sleep when I am tired.

I try to only say nice things to myself.
