Charlie Petzar was a Corgi patient of ours who developed cancer.
During his year of chemotherapy at Midwest Vet, Charlie would visit us often for blood work, and once for chemotherapy when Dr. Byers was speaking internationally.
In Charlie’s mind, he came for the marshmallows. Charlie loved his marshmallows so much.
The day I told Russ how much Charlie loved marshmallows, Russ brought a bag of marshmallows to the hospital before Charlie had even left from his visit. From then on, we always had a bag of marshmallows on the top shelf for Charlie.
