Saturday night - We rushed to Dave and Sara's house. We took over care of the big kids while Dave and Sara headed to the hospital.
Arthur David Nelson was born Saturday, March 5, 2016.
When they told us Arthur was here, knowing they were all exhausted and it was late at night, I offered to wait till morning to bring everyone up. When Dave said "that might be good," I started crying. Dave let Russ and me come meet him.
It surprised me how anxious I was to meet him. It did not surprise me how gracious Dave and Sara were. Thank you guys. I would say I would try to be more logical in the next situation, but we all know I can't do that.

Sunday morning - Olive proudly displayed the pony tail Abby had put in for her as she and Robert prepared to meet their baby brother.

On the way to the hospital Sunday morning, we stopped to let Luna and Joy and Noodle out and feed them breakfast. Luna decided to come with. Luckily she is small enough to pick up and move. She stayed home.
Joy offered to drive.
Then Joy begged to be allowed to drive.
Then Joy insisted on driving. She stayed home too.
Wednesday night - Mom with Baby Arthur. He looked like he was trying his baby best to remember his Grandma's beautiful face and voice!
