Grizz is one of my very favorite patients from my first year of medicine. He was the sweetest and cutest dog. He loved his stuffed carrot so much. He always had it with him. He battled cancer and two other potentially fatal diseases the year I knew him. He and his Mom faced every difficult step with grace and humor.
I found this picture of Grizz recently, and all of that came back in a moment.
