I met a three-year-old boy who was new to preschool Sunday school.
Normally kids nod solemnly as we point out the toys and books and explain that we will have play time then story time then snack time. They wave to their parents or give them a quick hug and walk off to explore the room.
This boy looked at me happily and yelled, "Your name is SHAWN?? Your name is Shawn! You like Thomas the Train?? ME TOO!!"
It reminded me of when I got to meet Dr. Andy Roark several years ago.
I love when people are as excited to meet me as I am to meet them.
